OTTAWA (August, 2010) — Sports Officials Canada is pleased to announce it's slate of Partners for the 2010 Annual Conference — Made in Canada:  Building Our Officials — scheduled for Toronto, Ontario September 24 to 26.  The SOC Partner Program, which was launched in 2008, was designed to attract support for the association's annual conference.  The list of renewing Partners includes — ArbiterSports, the National Hockey League, Delta Hotels & Resorts, the National Hockey League Officials Association, the Canadian Football League, Delta Meadowvale Resort & Conference Centre and the Canadian Professional Football Officials Association.  These companies join Fox 40 International — an SOC Business Partner — and the Premiere sponsor of the annual Awards Dinner held during the conference weekend.  It was announced earlier that Fox 40 International had renewed its three-year agreement with Sports Officials Canada as its Premiere Sponsor.

"As our conference grows each year, so does the importance of the Partner Program.  It's encouraging to see new Partners joining us, given the economy.   We simply could not operate without their support", stated SOC Executive Director, Denise Pittuck.

New to the Partner Program this year as a Silver Partner are Residence  & Conference Centres, an accommodation provider with comfortable and very affordable 2 bedroom suites with conference space available across Ontario and Canada.

“Residence & Conference Centres are extremely happy to support Sports Official Canada and the Sports Official Canada Conference.  Said David Carroll, Regional Sales Manager, Sheridan Residence & Conference Centre.

With over 14 locations across Ontario and a new location in British Columbia, RCC are committed to providing great service and overall value in accommodations.

Human Kinetics also joins the 2010 Conference Partner Program at the Bronze Level.  HK is the premier knowledge integrator in the physical activity field, having served this industry since 1974, and today producing textbooks and their ancillaries, consumer books, software, videos, audiocassettes, journals, and distance education courses.  HK annually publishes more than 120 books, 20 journals, and numerous videos and software packages.
